The rest of the staff retired hours ago, leaving me at my desk to put the finishing touches on this week's edition. We've got a couple of new features this week. I'm especially excited about our new comics section (see page 3). Enjoy. And, hey, get in touch. We'll be debuting a letters-to-the-editor section next week. -- bpb --PAGE 2: AROUND THE TILDEVERSE----------------------------- ~ news and views from our sister boxen ~ ~imt continues work on https://club6.nl/, an IPV6-only tildebox - now up to five users! http://tilde.club/~javier/ is more of a document every time you look at it. http://riotgirl.club/~wildcard/software/awk.html is about awk. http://drawbridge.club/ - named after a ghost town - has itself become a kind of ghost town! On squiggle.city, you can use full-featured mail clients like alpine or mutt, but there's more primitive option: mail(1). If you run this command interactively, it'll give you a simple CLI / menu for reading and writing mail. It's sort of a terrible experience, although there's something a little charming about it. The thing I've always liked it for is that it will send STDIN right to someone's mailbox. Want to share the output of some command with another squiggle.city user? Try something like the following: $ cowsay 'you hack' | mail brennen This works with much more than cows. +---------------------------------------------------------+ | | | "Poets are very ill advised to write prose for anything | | but money.
